The road to the SOTS
The Columbus Dispatch - February 03, 2012 16:02 PM
As he hinted he might, Go. John Kasich is making his way to Steubenville for his State of the State address a day early.
Kasich is heading east Monday with planned stops in Zanesville and Coshocton, and his cabinet is also scheduled for stops in eastern Ohio the day before he gives his speech at Steubenville High School.
Kasich is meeting with students at Zane State in Zanesville and with area residents at Roscoe Village’s Medberry Market & Ice Cream Shop in Coshocton. On Tuesday, he will become the first Ohio governor to deliver the State of the State address outside the state capital.
His Tuesday speech is theoretically at Wells Academy, a top-ranked elementary school which shares an auditorium with Steubenville High.
