MASSILLON, Ohio—Administrators in one Ohio school district will now have to answer to a high-school senior elected
to the school board.
Unofficial results from Stark County show Kathryn Knowles won a four-year term to one of three available seats in the Jackson Local district. The 18-year-old voted for the first time in Tuesday's election and attends Jackson High School in Massillon, 50 miles south of Cleveland. Knowles called the experience of the campaign "phenomenal."
