Mayor leaves on economic mission to Saudi Arabia

Mayor Michael B. Coleman is off to the Middle East, where he will lead a delegation of U.S. mayors on a cultural, economic and educational mission to Saudi Arabia. The mayor left yesterday and will be back in Columbus on Thursday, the day before he is to submit his 2010 city budget proposal to members of the City Council. Spokesman Dan Williamson said the U.S. Conference of Mayors is paying the entire cost of Coleman's trip. Story toolsToday’s Top Stories
